Mayor Adams Announces New Charter Revision Commission to Continue Important Work Tackling Generational Housing Crisis Impacting Working-Class New Yorkers
New York City Mayor Eric Adams today announced the appointment of a Charter Revision Commission (CRC) — under chair Richard R. Buery, Jr., CEO of Robin Hood — that will be tasked with reviewing the New York City Charter and determining how to make New York City’s municipal government more transparent and responsive to the needs of city residents, especially when it comes to promoting fair housing across the five boroughs.
