The Commission strives to ensure that people of every faith and religious expression are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve. More than 6 million people living in New York City practice some religion or faith. Working with houses of worship and faith communities continues to be a pillar of our work as we host events such as our Interfaith Seder, Iftar in the City, and roundtable discussions with faith leaders.
