Age Discrimination Education for Older Workers

  • The NYC Commission on Human Rights provides multilingual training on the NYC Human Rights Law and Age Discrimination in Employment training in English and Spanish to NYC Aging’s older adult workforce and volunteer program participants.

Skill Building for Older Workers

  • Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) Community Service Aides (CSAs) receive tax law training, build skills, serve as NYC Free Tax Prep tax preparers for the tax season, and learn about the various tax credits that are available to older New Yorkers.
  • Free tax preparation services are a vital resource that many older New Yorkers utilize to claim various tax credits, including the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), and New York State renters’ credits.
