Request Yankee Tickets

Every year, the New York Yankees give back to the Bronx community via the Youth Leadership Award, i.e. a $750.00 stipend, which is awarded to local youth who are preliminarily selected by CB11 (Community Board 11). (Learn more on the award and how to apply.)

The awardees are then honored at Yankee Stadium by being recognized with an on-the-field photo opportunity prior to the start of the Yankees’ baseball game on Bronx CB11 Day. For this special day, the Yankees provide the CB11 Office with complimentary game tickets, which are distributed to Yankee Award honorees first, local community groups and other not-for-profits second, and—last but not least—the general public (CB11 residents and/or people who work in the confines of CB11). Tickets are distributed on a first request basis.

This year’s CB11 Day at Yankee Stadium is taking place on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 7:05 p.m. The only member of CB11 allowed to attend the game is Education, Culture & Youth Services Committee Chairperson Phyllis Nastasio, who will take part in the on-the-field ceremony for this year’s awardees: Bilal Amed, Stephanie Chavez, Julian Gonzalez, Jahwayne Jones, Shemaro Muir. Every other CB11 board member, staff member and all family members of board members or staff are prohibited from receiving tickets. For board members or staff involved with one of CB11’s not-for-profits, please arrange for someone else to collect tickets on behalf of that organization.
