Every year, the New York Yankees gives back to the Bronx community via 1) their annual Winter Wonderland event, which is an opportunity for local children to meet Santa Claus, receive a gift and enjoy themselves, and 2) the Youth Leadership Award, a $750.00 stipend, which is awarded to local youth who are preliminarily selected by Community Board 11. Although CB11 doesn't normally collect tickets for the Winter Wonderland event, 2025 marked a turning point. CB11 collected 50 paper tickets for the event on Friday, December 12, 2025. .

Youth Leadership awardees are honored at Yankee Stadium by being recognized with an on-the-field photo opportunity prior to the start of the Yankees’ baseball game on Bronx CB11 Day. For this special day, the Yankees provide CB11 with complimentary game tickets, which are distributed to Yankee Award honorees first, local community groups and other not-for-profits second, and—last but not least—the general public.
This year’s CB11 Day at Yankee Stadium is on the evening of Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Fortunately, the Yankees WILL be conducting an on-the-field photo opportunity for awardees this year. With the exception of one Community Board representative, CB11 board members, staff members and their family members are prohibited from attending the game using the complementary tickets. For board members or staff involved with one of CB11’s not-for-profits, please arrange for someone else to collect tickets on behalf of your organization.
To request Winter Wonderland or baseball game tickets, complete and submit your info in the fields below. Tickets are distributed on a first request basis. CB11 constituents are given priority over non-constituents. Lastly, all baseball game tickets are electronic. Only Winter Wonderland tickets are paper.
