Fleet Week New York is a citywide salute to the sea services--honoring the Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen who safeguard our nation at home and abroad. For our agency, it is an opportunity to welcome service members to our city, connect them with the New York City Veteran community, and highlight their strength and resilience, while witnessing firsthand the latest capabilities of today’s maritime services.
This year’s theme is “Honoring the Past, Defending the Future: 250 Years of Sea Service Excellence," which celebrates the rich history of the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard — honoring service members from the past, present, and future who play a crucial role in supporting the fleet while carrying out our Navy’s maritime strategy and strategic objectives.
