NYPD Reform Implementation and Progress Report

To help drive and manage the implementation of the recommendations outlined in the NYC Police Reform and Reinvention Collaborative Plans and City Council Resolution, the City convened an NYPD Reform Implementation Working Group. This group, consisting of various city agency partners leading on reform initiatives, helped steer both the internal oversight of strategies as well as the external and intergovernmental coordination to drive implementation. 

For the purpose of ensuring effective implementation and monitoring progress of all initiatives, the City tracked progress of the Reform Plan’s initiatives and compiled a Reform and Reinvention Collaborative Plan Progress Report. This Report provides an overview of the status of each initiative along with a description of progresses made to date.
