City Environmental Quality Review (CEQR)

This page contains links to the Hazardous Materials, Air Quality, and Noise requirements of each E-Designation. The E-Designations have been sorted by borough into tables that contain the City Environmental Quality Review (CEQR) number, the certification date of the rezoning action, the name of the rezoning action, and the Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP) number. The CEQR and ULURP numbers represent environmental studies conducted by Lead Agencies to support rezoning actions throughout the City.

In order to access the requirements of a specific E-Designation, first you must know which E-Designation is associated with your Block and Lot. If you need to determine this, use the list provided on the Department of City Planning's website, which is searchable by Block and Lot by striking Control/Command + F on your computer keyboard and inserting the block number in the search box:

Appendix C: City Environmental Quality Review (CEQR) Table 1 - Environmental Requirements
Appendix C: City Environmental Quality Review (CEQR) Table 2 - Restrictive Declarations

When you have the E-Designation number for your Block and Lot, first click on the specific borough link below, and then find the E-Designation number related to your Block and Lot.  Either the CEQR or ULURP number will be a hyperlink that opens a PDF document. This document contains all the requirements for Hazardous Materials, Air Quality and Noise E-Designations, unless otherwise indicated.

Please visit the Mayor's Office of Environmental Coordination (MOEC) website if you need more information on an environmental study conducted by a Lead Agency. Take note of the CEQR number as it will help you in finding the appropriate documents.

DISCLAIMER: OER cannot guarantee that all the information reported under the CEQR number and ULURP number are the most accurate and up to date. Please Contact MOEC if you have any questions.
