Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment Celebrates the 13 Wins at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards for ‘Made in NY’ Productions

NEW YORK, NY - The Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) is proud to celebrate the 13 Emmy Award wins for ‘Made in NY’ productions, announced last night during the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards and last week’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards. This year’s awards were selected from a total of 72 nominations. A ‘Made in NY’ production is established when 75% or more of a show’s filming takes place in NYC. 

“We are so thrilled to celebrate the 13 Emmy Award wins received for ‘Made in NY’ productions which collectively shine a light on the talented workforce that lives and works here,” said NYC Commissioner of the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment Rafael Espinal. “Film and television production is back in New York City! And as our permit numbers rise and New Yorkers continue to return to set, we are focused on making filming as frictionless as possible for not only our current and future Emmy winners, but all the productions that give NYC a lead role in their show.”
