July 20, 2015 - New and returning “Made in NY” series premiere this month.

The Jim Gaffigan Show, airing on TV Land Wednesdays at 10pm, goes inside the life of comedian Jim Gaffigan for inspiration. The comedian plays a fictional version of himself taking on the daily grind of NYC.

Denis Leary returns to FX with a new series entitled Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll, where he plays the lead singer of a rock band that broke up before they became famous. A second chance at stardom comes his way when a young singer wants to reunite the band. The series airs Thursdays at 10pm.

On truTV, Friends of the People returns for a new season of sketch comedy with a pop culture edge. Episodes air Thursdays at 10:30pm.

In theatres, the Amy Schumer-penned Trainwreck follows the comedian playing a commitment-averse woman who unexpectedly finds herself falling in love with a decent guy. The film opened on July 17.
