Following Sunday Night's Writer's Guild Awards, HBO's 'Made in NY' Production Succession Says Goodbye with a Grand Total of 17 Awards

NEW YORK - The Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment congratulates the NYC filmmakers and performers recognized during the recent awards season, which began with the Golden Globes in January and culminated with the Writers Guild Awards this past Sunday. 'Made in NY' productions brought home 47 awards, 39 for TV and 9 for film. The HBO 'Made in NY' production Succession, which celebrated their 4th and final season of filming, had a grand total of 17 awards.
"Congratulations to all the 'Made in NY winners', including all the on screen talent and behind the scenes professionals who make NYC look so good on camera," said Commissioner of the NYC Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment, Pat Swinney Kaufman. "And to Succession, thank you for making NYC an integral character in your show, and showcasing our iconic streets and landmarks throughout your run, enticing a global audience of viewers to want to visit, work and live here."
