NYC Media's Flagship Channel to Air Season 3 of Original Series with New Host, Arun Pandian
NEW YORK, NY – The Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) is proud to announce the Season 3 premiere date for Inside Power Station @BerkleeNYC, a 12-episode series featuring interviews and performances from New York City's legendary Power Station recording studio with new host, Arun Pandian. The series will premiere on NYC Life (WNYE-TV/Channel 25), the flagship channel for NYC's television network, NYC Media, on April 11th at 9:00pm. Part of BerkleeNYC's campus and located in Manhattan's Theater District, Power Station is the state-of-the-art recording studio where the biggest names in music, including Lady Gaga, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Bruno Mars, the cast of Hamilton and more, have recorded iconic albums.

Arun Pandian began his career in 1998 performing on Lauryn Hill’s multiple Grammy Award-winning album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, and has been working in NYC’s music industry as an engineer and producer since 2003. Initially built on West 53rd Street in Manhattan as a Con Edison power relay station to provide power to NYC's elevated train (better known today at the High Line), Power Station officially reopened in 2021, thanks in part to funding from MOME and the NYC Economic Development Corporation (EDC). Power Station and BerkleeNYC are committed to developing the next generation of talented musical artists through educational programs, while hosting performances and providing resources for local musicians.
