Judge Maria Arias
Judge Maria Arias was appointed as a Family Court Judge in January 2010. She is a graduate of the University of Rochester and received her law degree from New York University School of Law. Prior to her appointment, Judge Arias was a Clinical Law Professor for the City University of New York Law School, Main Street Legal Services, Battered Women's Rights Clinic. Prior to that, she was a staff attorney for the Council of New York Law Associates' Community Development Legal Assistance Center and for the Legal Aid Society's Volunteer Division, Community Law Offices. Judge Alan Beckoff
Judge Alan Beckoff was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in September 2008 and has been serving in the Family Court. He is a graduate of Lafayette College and received his J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo. For 21 years, he worked for the New York City Law Department, serving as Deputy Borough Chief in the Family Court Division and as Senior Counsel in the Appeals Division. Judge Ashley Black
Judge Ashley Black was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in January 2020 and has been serving in Family Court. Judge Black served with the New York State Unified Court System for 13 years as a Court Attorney and then as Court Attorney Referee. Prior to that, she served as an Agency Attorney with the New York City Administration for Children’s Services. She is a graduate of Rutgers University and received her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Judge Lauren Broderick
Judge Lauren Broderick was appointed to the Family Court in February 2023. She is a graduate of Boston University and received her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School. Judge Broderick then joined The Legal Aid Society of Nassau County in the Family Court Bureau, where she served for 18 years. While there she held various titles, including Staff Attorney and Deputy Bureau Chief. Prior to her appointment, she served as Bureau Chief of the Family Court Bureau.
Judge Keith Brown
Judge Keith Brown was appointed to the Family Court in January 2019. He received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and his law degree from Brooklyn Law School. Judge Brown has practiced family law for 14 years as a solo practitioner, serving at the New York City Administration for Children’s Services, Family Court Legal Services, at the New York City Law Department in the Family Court Division, and at the New York State Unified Court System as a Court Attorney in Family Court, Bronx County. Judge Linda Capitti
Judge Linda Capitti was appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in January 2019 and has been serving in Family Court. She is a graduate of Rutgers University and received her J.D. from New York Law School. Judge Capitti previously served with the New York State Unified Court System as a Principal Court Attorney in the Integrated Domestic Violence Court for 12 years. Judge Sharon N. Clarke
Judge Sharon N. Clarke was appointed to the Family Court in February 2023. She is a graduate of Stony Brook University, SUNY, earned an MPH/MSW from the University of South Florida and her J.D. from Hofstra University Law School. Judge Clarke is a former social worker, who served with the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, Community Family Planning Council, and North Shore Child & Family Guidance Center before starting her legal career. She joined the New York State Unified Court System in Family Court, Nassau County and held various titles during her 16-year tenure, including as a Court Attorney and Associate Court Attorney. Prior to her appointment, she served as a Court Attorney Referee.
Judge Sarah Cooper
Judge Sarah Cooper was appointed as a Family Court Judge in January 2012. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton and received her law degree from Cardozo School of Law. Prior to her appointment, she practiced in Family Court for 15 years, having worked for the New York City Administration for Children's Services and as a Court Attorney Referee. Judge Karen Cortes
Judge Karen Cortes was appointed to the Family Court in January 2019. She received her undergraduate degree from New York University and her law degree from Brooklyn Law School. Judge Cortes has practiced family law for nearly 15 years, most recently with the New York State Unified Court System as a Court Attorney Referee in Bronx County, Family Court. Judge Janette Cortes-Gomez
Judge Janette Cortes-Gomez was appointed to the Family Court in February 2023. She is a graduate of Canisius College and received her J.D. from the University at Buffalo, SUNY School of Law. Judge Cortes-Gomez began her legal career with the New York City Administration for Children’s Services. Thereafter, she started and maintained her own solo practice for 17 years as part of the Assigned Counsel Plan in Queens and Bronx counties, and simultaneously served as Commissioner of the New York City Civilian Complaint Review Board. Prior to her appointment, she was a Principal Court Attorney in Bronx County Supreme Court.
Judge Ben Darvil, Jr.
Judge Ben Darvil, Jr. was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in March 2016 and has been presiding in Family Court. He received his undergraduate degree from Long Island University and his J.D. from St. John's University, School of Law. Judge Darvil served with Family Court Legal Services of the New York City Administration for Children's Services before joining the Unified Court System. Prior to his appointment, he served as a Court Attorney and Law Clerk with Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Department. Appointed April 2017. Reappointed December 2023. Judge Tandra Dawson
Judge Tandra Dawson was first appointed to the Family Court in July 1998. She is a graduate of Spelman College and Brooklyn Law School. Judge Dawson previously served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County District Attorney's Office. Reappointed February 2005; February 2015.
Judge Jacqueline Deane
Judge Jacqueline Deane was appointed to the Family Court in February 2015. She graduated from Bryn Mawr College and received her law degree from New York University School of Law. Prior to her appointment, Judge Deane was a law clerk to a federal judge and was a training team leader/senior attorney at the Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem. She also served with the Legal Aid Society for 27 years, primarily in the Juvenile Rights Division, holding various positions including Director of Delinquency Training and Practice and Deputy Attorney-in-Charge. Judge Peter DeLizzo
Judge Peter DeLizzo was appointed as a Family Court Judge in April 2015. He graduated from the College of Staten Island and received his law degree from the CUNY School of Law. Prior to his appointment, Judge DeLizzo was an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County, was an associate attorney in the Office of the Public Defender of Richmond County, and was a Court Attorney-Referee in Richmond County for 8½ years. Judge Catherine DiDomenico
Judge Catherine DiDomenico was first appointed to the bench in January 2005 as an Interim Civil Court Judge. She was subsequently appointed to the Family Court in January 2006. Judge DiDomenico is a graduate of Fordham University and received her J.D. from Fordham Law School. Prior to her appointment, she served as an Administrative Law Judge, as an Impartial Hearing Officer with the New York City Board of Education, had her own practice, was an associate for a private firm and was a federal law clerk. Judge Alicea Elloras-Ally
Judge Alicea Elloras-Ally was appointed as a Family Court Judge in April 2015. She is a graduate of Barnard College and received her law degree from Penn State University, Dickinson School of Law. Prior to her appointment, Judge Elloras-Ally was a Staff Attorney with the New York City Administration for Children's Services, served as a Court Attorney in Family Court as well as a Law Clerk in Supreme Court, Criminal Term. Judge Adetokunbo Fasanya
Judge Adetokunbo Fasanya was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in October 2013 and had been serving in Family Court. He graduated from the University of Ife in Nigeria and from the Nigerian Law School. Prior to his appointment, he served with the New York City Child Welfare Administration and was in private practice for 14 years specializing in several areas including family law. Judge Elizabeth Fassler
Judge Elizabeth Fassler was appointed to the Family Court in January 2019. She received her undergraduate degree from Brandeis University and received her law degree from Syracuse University College of Law. Judge Fassler has practiced family law for 20 years and most recently served as Director of Holistic Practice at the Center for Family Representation (CFR). Prior to that, she served with The Legal Aid Society, Juvenile Rights Practice. Appointed January 2019.
Judge Lisa Friederwitzer
Judge Lisa Friederwitzer was appointed to the Family Court in February 2018. She graduated from Queens College and received her law degree from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. Prior to her appointment, Judge Friederwitzer served as a Court Attorney Referee in Supreme Court, Queens County after serving as a Support Magistrate in both Queens and Manhattan Family Courts. Judge Gregory Gliedman

Judge Connie Gonzalez was appointed to the Family Court in February 2015. She graduated from Stony Brook and received her law degree from Columbia University School of Law. Prior to her appointment, Judge Gonzalez worked for the Nassau County Legal Aid Society for 13 years having last served as Family Court Bureau Chief. Appointed February 2015.
Judge Ronna Gordon-Galchus
Judge Ronna Gordon-Galchus was appointed to the Family Court in March 2019. She received her undergraduate degree from SUNY at Stony Brook and her law degree from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. Judge Gordon-Galchus started her career with the Legal Aid Society in the Criminal Defense Division before establishing a partnership practice in criminal defense and family law which she maintained for nearly 29 years before being appointed to the bench. Judge Ilana Gruebel
Judge Ilana Gruebel was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in January 2010 and has been serving in Family Court. She graduated from the State University of New York at Binghamton and received her law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She served as a Bureau Chief of the Family Court Division of the Nassau County Legal Aid Society and was with the Legal Aid Society Juvenile Rights Division in New York City. Judge Alison Hamanjian
Judge Alison Hamanjian was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in February 2017 and has been serving in Family Court. Since 2022, she has been serving as the Supervising Judge of Richmond County Family Court. She also briefly presided in Criminal Court. Judge Hamanjian is a graduate of Hunter College and received her J.D. from New York Law School. Judge Robert Hettleman
Judge Robert Hettleman was first appointed to the Family Court in December 2013 and served for four years in Bronx County. He received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and his law degree from New York University School of Law. Prior to his first appointment, he served with the New York County District Attorney's Office for nearly 15 years in various capacities including as Chief of the Child Abuse Unit. Judge Douglas Hoffman
Judge Douglas Hoffman was first appointed to the bench as a Criminal Court Judge in January 2003, and was assigned to the Family Court. He formerly served as the Supervising Judge of New York County Family Court from 2009 to 2016. He is a graduate of Oberlin College and received his J.D. from New York University School of Law. Judge Anne-Marie Jolly
Judge Anne-Marie Jolly was appointed as a Family Court Judge in September 2010. She is a graduate of Boston University and received her law degree from Albany Law School. Prior to her appointment, Judge Jolly worked for the Office of Court Administration in various capacities including Counsel and Chief of Staff to the Administrative Judge of New York City Family Courts, Deputy Chief Magistrate to the New York State Family Court, and Court Attorney Referee in Family Court. Prior to that, she was with the Legal Aid Society's Juvenile Rights Division for eight years. Appointed September 2010; reappointed May 2011 and May 2021.
Judge David Kaplan
Judge David Kaplan was appointed to the Family Court in June 2015. Prior to his appointment, Judge Kaplan served as Supervising Judge of Housing Court in New York County. He was first appointed as a Housing Court Judge in 2008. Prior to that, he served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Carmen Beauchamp Ciparick in the New York State Court of Appeals and was a Court Attorney to Housing Court Judges. Judge Kaplan received his law degree from Emory University School of Law. Appointed June 2015; reappointed October 2015.
Judge Maura Keating
Judge Maura Keating was appointed to the Family Court in April 2023. She is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and received her law degree from St. John’s University School of Law. Judge Keating began her legal career as a Staff Attorney with The Legal Aid Society, Juvenile Rights Practice before joining the Manhattan Practice of the Center for Family Representation where she held the titles of Litigation Supervisor and Co-Director. Prior to her appointment to the bench, she served as the Director of Litigation. Appointed April 2023.
Judge Dean Kusakabe
Judge Dean Kusakabe was appointed as a Family Court Judge in July 2012. He is a graduate of Emory University and received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School. Prior to his appointment, he served with the Legal Aid Society in the Juvenile Rights Division, and was a solo practitioner specializing in family law. Appointed July 2012. Reappointed December 2015.
Judge Michael Liddie
Judge Michael Liddie was appointed to the Family Court in January 2024. He received his undergraduate and a master’s degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and his law degree from Yeshiva University, Cardozo School of Law. Judge Liddie started and maintained his own practice for over a decade as a member of the Assigned Counsel Plan (18b) in Supreme Court, Appellate Division in both the First and Second Departments. He then joined the New York City Department of Correction as an Agency Attorney before becoming Executive Agency Counsel. Prior to his appointment to the bench, he served as Senior Policy Advisor to the Deputy Commissioner at the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services, Facilities Management. Judge Cynthia Lopez
Judge Cynthia Lopez was appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in June 2021 and has been serving in Family Court. She received her B.S., magna cum laude, from St. John's University and her law degree from St. John's University School of Law. Judge Lopez began her legal career with the New York City Administration for Children's Services, where she served for twenty years, in various roles and counties including Queens, Manhattan, Staten Island and Brooklyn. Prior to her appointment to the bench, she served as the Borough Chief of Brooklyn Family Court Legal Services. Judge Karen Lupuloff
Judge Karen Lupuloff was first appointed to the bench as Interim Civil Court Judge in January 2005. She currently serves as the Supervising Judge of New York County Family Court since 2016. She is a graduate of the American University and received her J.D. from Temple University School of Law. She most recently worked at the New York State Attorney General's Office, and also served in the New York County District Attorney's Office. Judge Robert Markoff
Judge Robert Markoff was appointed to the Family Court in April 2023. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and received his J.D. from Temple University, Beasley School of Law. Judge Markoff served the New York State Unified Court System for over two decades. First, as a Court Attorney in Supreme Court, Kings County before becoming a Senior Court Attorney serving in Civil Court, Kings County. He then briefly worked as an associate at a private firm before returning to the Unified Court System where he resumed his service as a Principal Law Clerk in Supreme Court, Kings County. Most recently, he served as a Senior Principal Law Clerk in the Appellate Division, Second Department. Appointed April 2023.
Judge Janet McFarland
Judge Janet McFarland was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in March 2021 and has been serving in Family Court. She is a graduate of Fordham University and received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. Judge McFarland was a former Family Court Attorney Referee in Richmond County. Prior to that, she served as a Principal Attorney with the Mental Hygiene Legal Service after beginning her career as a prosecutor with the Bronx District Attorney’s Office. Appointed January 2023. Judge Nisha Menon
Judge Nisha Menon was appointed to the Family Court in February 2023. She is a graduate of Harvard University and received her J.D. from Columbia University Law School. Judge Menon began her legal career as a Litigation Associate at a private firm and went on to serve The Legal Aid Society, Juvenile Rights Practice as a Staff Attorney. She then became General Counsel for a manufacturing and engineering company before joining the New York State Unified Court System. Prior to her appointment, she served as a Court Attorney Referee in Kings County Family Court.

Judge Margaret Morgan was appointed as a Family Court Judge in December 2015. Judge Morgan is a graduate of Pace University and received her law degree from Jacob D. Fuchsberg Touro Law Center. Judge Morgan has served with the New York City Administration for Children's Services as Chief of Staff in the Division of Family Court Legal Services. Judge Gigi Parris was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in March 2021 and has been serving in Family Court. She is a graduate of Harvard University and received her J.D. from the University of Virginia, School of Law. Prior to her appointment, Judge Parris was a Court Attorney in both Queens and Bronx Family Courts. She also served as a Supervising Attorney with the Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem’s Family Defense Practice, as a Staff Attorney with the Bronx Defenders’ Family Defense Practice, and as a Corporate Associate with a large private firm. Judge Peter Passidomo
Judge Peter Passidomo was appointed as a Family Court Judge in July 2012. He received his undergraduate degree from S.U.N.Y. at Albany, and his law degree from Fordham Law School. He served with the New York State Unified Court System in various capacities including as Chief Court Attorney to the Administrative Judge of Family Court, Family Law Advisor to the Chief Administrative Judge, Chief Family Court Magistrate, and Chief Clerk of New York City Family Courts. Judge Valerie Pels

Judge Christine Perumal
Judge Christine Perumal was appointed as a Family Court Judge in September 2024. She is a graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice and received her J.D. from the North Carolina Central University School of Law. Following her law school graduation, she worked in several private practices before going on to establish her own partnership focusing on matrimonial and family law matters. She then went on to serve as a Supervising Attorney with the New York City Administration for Children’s Services and as Director of Safe Horizon’s Domestic Violence Law Project. Thereafter, she joined the New York State Unified Court System as a Support Magistrate in New York County Family Court. Prior to her appointment to the bench, Judge Perumal was a Court Attorney Referee in Queens County Family Court. Appointed September 2024.

Judge Erik Pitchal
Judge Erik Pitchal was appointed as a Family Court Judge in January 2015. He graduated from Brown University and received his law degree from Yale Law School. Prior to his appointment, he served with the Legal Aid Society in the Juvenile Rights Division, worked for Children's Rights, and was the Director of the Child Advocacy Clinic at Suffolk University Law School. Judge Raymi Ramseur-Usher
Judge Raymi Ramseur-Usher was appointed to the Family Court in February 2023. She is a graduate of Syracuse University and received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. Judge Ramseur-Usher began her legal career as a Litigation Associate with a private firm before establishing a solo practice, which she maintained for over 14 years. After closing her solo practice, she served the New York State Unified Court System for 12 years in Kings County Supreme, Family and Civil courts. Prior to her appointment, she was a Principal Law Clerk.

Judge Emily Ruben
Judge Emily Ruben was appointed to the Family Court in June 2015. She received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University and her law degree from New York University School of Law. Judge Ruben began her legal career as a Law Clerk in Supreme Court, New York County before joining private firms. She then served with The Legal Aid Society, Civil Division for over 18 years, first as Attorney-in-Charge of the Brooklyn Neighborhood Office, then as Co-Supervisor of the Domestic Violence Project, and Supervising Attorney of the Citywide Family Law Unit prior to her appointment. Judge Pamela Scheininger
Judge Pamela Scheininger was appointed as a Family Court Judge in September 2024. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto and received her J.D. from the Columbia University School of Law. After graduating from law school, she joined a private firm as a General Litigation Associate. She then joined The Legal Aid Society, Juvenile Rights Practice as a Staff Attorney before briefly serving as of Counsel to another private firm. Thereafter, she joined the New York State Unified Court System as a Court Attorney in Family Court, New York County. Prior to her appointment to the bench, Judge Scheininger served as a Court Attorney Referee in the same court and taught as an Adjunct Professor at the New York City College of Technology. Judge Stephanie Schwartz
Judge Stephanie Schwartz was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in December 2021 and has been serving in Family Court. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison and received her law degree from CUNY School of Law. Judge Schwartz began her career with The Legal Aid Society, Criminal Defense Practice and later served with the New York City Administration for Children's Services in New York and Bronx Counties for over nine years. Prior to her appointment to the bench, she was a Court Attorney-Referee in New York County Family Court for five years. Appointed January 2023. Judge Jonathan Shim
Judge Jonathan Shim was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in February 2018 and has been serving in Family Court. He graduated from SUNY at Albany and received his law degree from Albany Law School. Judge Shim began his legal career as an associate at several firms and prior to his appointment, he started his own practice in family and matrimonial law which he maintained for nine and a half years. Appointed December 2021. (Formerly appointed to the Interim Civil Court February 2018).
Judge Monica Shulman
Judge Monica Shulman was appointed as a Family Court Judge in August 2016. She graduated from Indiana University and received her law degree from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. She served as a Court Attorney Referee in New York County Family Court for six years. Prior to that, she served with the New York City Administration for Children's Services in the Bronx, New York and Kings counties for over 12 years. Reappointed December 2017.
Judge Jessica Sin
Judge Jessica Sin was appointed to the Family Court in April 2023. She is a graduate of Barnard College and received her law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Judge Sin began her legal career as an Agency Attorney for the New York City Administration for Children’s Services before establishing her solo-practice where she concentrated on Matrimonial and Family Law. She then joined the New York State Unified Court System as a Principal Law Clerk in Supreme Court, Queens County, then as a Court Attorney in Family Court, Queens County. Prior to her appointment, Judge Sin served as a Support Magistrate in the Family Courts of Bronx, New York, and Queens counties. Appointed April 2023.
Judge Hari Singh
Judge Hari Singh was appointed to the Family Court in February 2023. He is a graduate of the University of Guyana and received his Legal Education Certificate at Hugh Wooding Law School, Trinidad and Tobago. He also earned a Master of International Law from Lund University, Sweden. Judge Singh started his legal career in the Guyanese government, first as a Legal Officer with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and then as a Legal Advisor to the Permanent Mission to the United Nations. After his admission to the New York State bar, he joined a private law firm as an Associate Attorney prior to serving as Team Leader with the New York City Administration for Children’s Services. Judge Singh then joined the New York State Unified Court System as a Senior Court Attorney and, prior to his appointment, served as Principal Court Attorney to the Supervising Judge of Queens County Family Court.
Judge Rantideva Singh
Judge Rantideva Singh was appointed to the Family Court in January 2024. He received his undergraduate degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and his law degree from Boston University School of Law. He was a former Agency Attorney Supervisor with the New York City Department of Homeless Services as well as an Agency Attorney at the New York City Administration for Children’s Services. Thereafter, he joined the United States Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review as an Immigration Judge and also served as an Administrative Law Judge for both the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles and the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. Prior to his appointment to the bench, he was a Court Attorney Referee in Kings County Surrogate’s Court. Appointed January 2024.
Judge Marjorie Steinberg
Judge Marjorie Steinberg was appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in April 2023 and has been serving in Family Court. She received her B.A. from Wagner College and her law degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Judge Steinberg started her legal career with a private firm as an Associate Attorney focusing on custody, visitation, domestic violence, matrimonial, guardianship and neglect litigation proceedings. She then joined The Children's Law Center, first as a Staff Attorney, eventually serving as Deputy Director. Afterwards she joined the New York State Unified Court System as a Court Attorney in the Integrated Domestic Violence Part, then as Principal Court Attorney in the All Purpose Matrimonial Part in Richmond County, Supreme Court. Prior to her appointment, she served as a Support Magistrate presiding in Richmond County, Family Court. Appointed January 2024. (Formerly appointed to the Interim Civil Court April 2023).
Judge Gilbert Taylor
Judge Gilbert Taylor was appointed to the Family Court in March 2016. Since 2020, he has been serving as the Supervising Judge of Queens County Family Court. He graduated from Cornell University and received his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law. Judge Taylor served with the New York City Administration for Children's Services for 12 years holding various positions including Executive Deputy Commissioner of Child Protection. He also served with The Children's Rights Society of the Orange County Family Court as Attorney-in-Charge of the Law Guardian Program. Prior to his appointment, he served as Commissioner of New York City Homeless Services. Reappointed August 2022.
Judge Judith Waksberg
Judge Judith Waksberg was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in July 2015 and has been presiding in Family Court. Judge Waksberg graduated from Brandeis University and received her law degree from New York University School of Law. She had been with the Legal Aid Society her entire career for the past 32 years primarily in the Juvenile Rights Appeals Unit where she last served as the Director for 17 years. Appointed January 2017; reappointed March 2018. (Formerly appointed to the Interim Civil Court July 2015; reappointed January 2016).
Judge Tamra Walker
Judge Tamra Walker was appointed as a Family Court Judge in June 2021. She received her B.A. from the University of North Carolina and her law degree from St. John’s University, School of Law. Prior to her appointment to the bench, Judge Walker served as a Court Attorney-Referee in Bronx and Queens Family Courts. She started her legal career with the New York City Administration for Children’s Services, Family Court Legal Services, in Bronx and Queens counties, where she last served after 11 years as an Assistant Supervising Attorney. Appointed June 2021.
Judge Amanda White
Judge Amanda White was first appointed as an Interim Civil Court Judge in January 2011 and was subsequently appointed to the Family Court in December 2011. Since 2015, she has been serving as the Supervising Judge of Kings County Family Court. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and her law degree from New York University School of Law. Prior to her appointment, she worked in the Legal Aid Society's Juvenile Rights Division for 18 years, having last served as an Attorney-in-Charge. Appointed December 2011; reappointed August 2012; August 2022. (Formerly appointed to the Interim Civil Court January 2011).
Judge Karen Wolff
Judge Karen Wolff was appointed as a Family Court Judge in January 2010. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany and received her law degree from Union University at Albany Law School. Prior to her appointment, Judge Wolff was a Special Referee of a Matrimonial Part, and Court Attorney of the Supreme Court, Richmond County. Prior to that, she was an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department's Medical Malpractice Unit. Appointed January 2010. Reappointed December 2015.
