  • Foreign government officials, the consular corps, the Permanent Missions to the United Nations, and international organizations can also contact the Office to request a meeting with the Mayor, to invite the Mayor to an event, or to request a Mayoral letter or proclamation. Please send these requests by e-mail.
  • In addition, the Office works with the New York Police Department, the Department of State, the U.S. Secret Service, the United Nations, and other partners to ensure the safety of all New Yorkers during the high-level meeting of the United Nations General Assembly each September, and during other occasions year-round.
