English Learning Program

MOIA English Learning and Support Centers are located across the city to support long time and recently arrived immigrant New Yorkers learn English and get connected to city resources.

Each center connects immigrant New Yorkers to beginner and intermediate level in-person English classes. The centers will use We Speak NYC, an award-winning curriculum developed by the city of New York as a tool to teach English and educate New Yorkers on city resources and services.

Each center also supports immigrant new Yorkers by providing more information on resources introduced in the classes, making referrals to social and legal services, and acting as a hub for English language learning in their communities.
