Welcome to the Mayor’s Office to Facilitate Pro Bono Legal Assistance

Newly created in 2025, the Office to Facilitate Pro Bono Legal Assistance recognizes the importance of helping protect New Yorkers’ constitutional and civil rights by connecting them with free and existing legal services and resources throughout the five boroughs.

Through its centralized repository of legal providers, the Office to Facilitate Pro Bono Legal Assistance’s top priority is to connect New Yorkers who are facing poverty or other socioeconomic challenges with access to legal support by providing referrals to pro bono attorneys, law school clinics, programs and agencies.
