You can also request free workshops about poison prevention and medicine safety for providers, parents and older adults through the NYC Poison Control Center’s Community Education Programs. Online Training

The Poison Prevention in the Home online training offers an overview of our services and tips to avoid poisonings. Topics include household products, medicine safety, plants and carbon monoxide. Throughout the training, you can download educational materials for each topic area.

After completing the training and a short quiz, you will receive a certificate by email.
