Health Insurance: Facilitated Enrollment for the Aged, Blind and Disabled

Medicaid Renewals

Starting in April 2025, New Yorkers receiving Medicaid through the NYC Human Resources Administration will need to renew their coverage to continue receiving benefits. If you receive a renewal notice from HRA and do not submit your renewal by the deadline listed, you will lose your coverage and will need to reapply. Taking action is crucial to avoid losing your benefits.

You can get free assistance to enroll in or renew your Medicaid, and apply for Medicare and the Medicare Savings Program, which helps cover Medicare costs if you are:

  • 65 or older
  • Living with a disability
  • Visually impaired

For more information or to schedule an enrollment appointment, call 347-396-4705 or fill out the Health Insurance Enrollment Assistance Inquiry Form or find a counselor. Help is available in many languages, regardless of immigration status.
