NYC Department of Correction Brightens Lives of Children

During Holiday Season

DOC’s Annual Holiday Toy Drive delivers toys to children at SCO Family of Services in Brooklyn

December 18, 2019 –Getting into the holiday spirit, Correction Officers from the NYC Department of Correction delivered approximately 100 toys donated as part of DOC’s Annual Holiday Toy Drive for children in need. The officers visited SCO Family of Services in Downtown Brooklyn on Thursday, December 12 to spread holiday cheer to youngsters. DOC Correction Officers and members of the agency’s non-uniformed staff are collecting more toys as part of the agency’s ongoing drive.
