The New York City Department of Correction (Department) strives to continue the City of New York commitment to encourage a successful, competitive, and diverse business environment with special emphasis on historically underserved groups. The Department actively promotes and encourages the participation of Minority and Women-Owned Business-Enterprises (M/WBE) firms via Pre-Bid Conferences, Post Award Debriefings, M/WBE vendor events, and workshops to address the Department diverse portfolio of services and/or goods.
