Renewing

The Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA) is pleased to announce the Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27) Cultural Development Fund (CDF) application for New York City not-for-profit arts and cultural organizations.

The FY27 CDF Renewal application will launch in May and the deadline will be in mid-June 2026. Grantees who received a Cultural Development Fund (CDF) 3-year award in Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) or Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26) are required to submit a Fiscal Year 2027 CDF Renewal application by the deadline to be eligible to receive FY27 CDF Funds. Please consult this page for updates when the FY27 CDF Renewal Application is released later this spring.

Note: Other CDF applicants who are not recipients of a multi-year award in FY25 or FY26 will submit an FY27 CDF annual application due April 2, 2026. The April 2nd deadline does not apply to organizations with multi-year awards for FY27 as described above; those organizations will submit their FY27 CDF renewal application in June 2026. If you are not sure whether your organization received a multi-year award, please refer to your FY26 CDF award letter and/or contact your program officer.

Please also make certain your organizational account in the grant portal is current. Instructions on how to access your account information as well as how to add new users to your account are available in the CDF registration help guide: CDF registration help guide.
