Jennifer Lorenzo's Biography

Jennifer Lorenzo is a lifelong Bronx resident who is deeply committed to serving her community. Professionally, she works in government relations as an events and special projects manager, with extensive experience in development, donor relations, event planning, budgeting, and civic engagement.

Jennifer was appointed to Community Board 11 in 2026 by Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson. She joined the Community Board to help amplify the voices of neighborhood residents, strengthen local services, and support initiatives that enhance the quality of life throughout the district. She is highly organized, detail-oriented, skilled at managing multiple priorities, and unafraid to speak candidly when advocating for the needs of her community.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology with an Honors Minor in Latina/o Studies and a Master of Arts in Public Administration with a concentration in Management and Operations, both from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. In addition, she proudly volunteers with the Civic Engagement Commission.

Throughout her career and volunteer service, Jennifer has served on numerous committees, led advocacy efforts, and collaborated with a wide range of government and public agencies. These experiences have given her a deeper understanding of the concerns facing community members and reinforced her appreciation for the diverse perspectives that shape public service.

Jennifer is committed to being a voice for those who feel unheard and to keeping residents informed about the initiatives, policies, and decisions that impact their daily lives. She looks forward to serve and represent her community with dedication, transparency, and integrity.
