Dwayne Williams' Biography

Originally from the island of Jamaica, Dwayne Williams migrated to the Bronx in 1985, moving to the Pelham Gardens section of Community Board 11 ten years later. He earned his baccalaureate in electrical engineering from Polytechnic University and Master of Science from New York University.

A licensed professional engineer, Dwayne is the owner and operating manager of ADJ Engineering, managing the approval of permits for elevator repairs and modernizations for multiple locations within NYC’s five boroughs. Since 1999, he has contributed to numerous public and private projects.

Appointed to Community Board 11 in 2022 by Borough President Gibson, Dwayne has a passion for mentoring STEM students with robotics competitions. He enjoys participating in community youth basketball competitions as a coach and certified IAABO referee. With his family, he enjoys the amenities of the Bronx such as Pelham Bay Park.
