The opening of the Henry J. Carter Specialty Hospital and Nursing Facility marks a new and exciting chapter in our history. At our former facility, Goldwater, we established an award-winning reputation of providing compassionate care and exceptional services for our patients and residents. Now, we can offer that quality of care in a state-of-the-art setting. The 164-bed skilled nursing facility (SNF) features private and two-bed suites with private sleeping areas, light-filled living spaces, family-style dining rooms, open kitchens, and a concourse of activity spaces. The 201-bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) is housed in fully renovated space in the former North General Hospital building.

The Henry J. Carter Specialty Hospital and Nursing Facility will continue Goldwater’s tradition of compassionate care and outstanding service. We believe that the environment we have created is the equal of any long-term facility, anywhere.
