    Community Boards have an important advisory role in dealing with land use and zoning items, the City budget, municipal service delivery, and many other matters relating to their communities' welfare. Staten Island Community Board 1 is here to improve the quality of life for anyone who lives, works or visits our North Shore community.

Community Board 1, Staten Island has resumed full office hours. Most meetings have also resumed whether they be virtual on Zoom or in person. You may call our office 718-981-6900 during regular business hours, 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday or leave a voicemail message after business hours.

Going back to Monday, March 16, 2020, we had started teleworking and 1 Edgewater Plaza, Suite 217 was closed due to the Covid-19 Health Crisis. We communicated via email and telephone. When directed, we continued by working on a hybrid schedule.
