The Government Publications Portal provides easy access to reports and other materials produced by New York City agencies. The New York City Department of Records and Information Services (DORIS) established the portal to serve as a permanent, searchable online repository of City government publications. The City Charter, Section 1133, requires agencies to post all publications on this publicly accessible portal.
Please note, the Municipal Library has been acquiring published materials by and about New York City government for more than one hundred years. In addition to the Government Publications Portal, researchers are encouraged to search the Library catalog for books, serials, reports, and other hard-copy items in the collection.
