A cornerstone of DOI’s OIG-NYPD is transparency so the public has a full understanding of policing in New York City. Final reports of OIG-NYPD, including both issue-specific policy reports and annual reports, are posted here for public viewing and download. In addition,  Local Law 70 requires DOI’s OIG-NYPD to furnish its reports to the Mayor, the City Council and the Police Commissioner.
