Quality of Life Teams, or Q-Teams, are your go to resource for addressing complaints impacting quality of life concerns in your neighborhood. These officers are building real connections with the community and are focused on developing long-term solutions to these issues. From addressing everyday concerns to tackling persistent problems, your Q-Teams are committed to making your neighborhood a better place to live.
To report non-emergency quality of life issues, call 311 or use the app. To connect with a Q-Team member, call or visit your local command.
Domestic Violence Prevention Officers, or DVOs, are available in each Precinct and Police Service Area to assist any survivor of Domestic Violence or any person involved in a Domestic Incident. Their assistance includes, but is not limited to report taking, obtaining an order of protection through Family Court, safety planning and referrals to essential services. Domestic Violence Officers can help provide referrals to the Family Justice Center, legal advice, social services assistance, emergency housing transfers, crisis intervention and counseling support.
