The 7th Precinct serves Manhattan's Lower East Side. It is the second smallest precinct in the city consisting of only .62 square miles. The precinct is home to the Williamsburg Bridge and Orchard Street, which is transformed into an open-air mall every Sunday.

Domestic Violence AssistanceDomestic Violence Investigators and crime victim advocates are available in the Precinct, to assist any survivor of Domestic Violence or any person involved in a Domestic Incident. Their assistance includes, but is not limited to report taking, obtaining an order of protection through Family Court, safety planning and referrals to essential services, including at NYC Family Justice Centers, legal advice, social services assistance, emergency housing transfers, crisis intervention and counseling support. |
