NYC Life Channel Celebrates 2025 New York Emmy Awards Nominations

Five Total Shows Nominated, with 12 Nominations for The NYC Field Guide: How to Thrive in the Five, Produced in Partnership with Next Millennium Productions


NEW YORK, NY - NYC Life, the flagship television channel of the City of New York’s broadcast network and production group, NYC Media, and part of the NYC Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME), recently received New York Emmy Awards nominations for five programs, including 12 for The NYC Field Guide: How to Thrive in the Five, produced in collaboration with Next Millennium Productions (NMP). The 13-episode series offers New Yorkers advice, tips and humor for thriving in NYC, featuring Bob's Dance Shop, Celebrity Chef David Burke, Comedian Roy Wood Jr., and 17 NYC Departments, including Transportation, Health & NYPD.

NYC Media informs, educates and entertains New Yorkers about the city's diverse people, neighborhoods, government services, attractions and activities. NYC Life (WNYE-TV), the City's Emmy Award-winning lifestyle channel, has been providing residents with entertaining, non-commercial, educational programming for the past 57 years.

The NYC Field Guide: How to Thrive in the Five, was produced in collaboration with minority and woman owned production company Next Millennium Productions based in lower Manhattan. The Emmy-nominated company has been a MOME production partner for over a decade.
