The New York City Department of Finance’s Tax Representatives and Practitioners Program (TaxRAPP) is almost here. Register today!  

Join DOF and the New York chapter of the Tax Executives Institute on October 31 for an informative day of panel discussions, presentations, and tips and insights from leading tax professionals and top government officials at TaxRAPP 2023.

TaxRAPP 2023 consists of two sessions to help make sure that professionals receive the information most relevant to their areas of practice. Check out the draft agenda for more details.  

Morning session: property taxes

  • The morning session, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., will focus on property taxes. It will include information on DOF's new Property Information Portal (currently known as the Digital Tax Map), commercial exemptions, and more. DOF Commissioner Preston Niblack will give a keynote address at the morning session.

Afternoon session: business and excise taxes 

  • The afternoon session, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., will include updates on business and excise taxes, payment plans, filing returns with DOF, and more.  

Both sessions include light refreshments, presentations from senior Department of Finance leadership, and the opportunity to get one-on-one assistance from DOF staff, and networking opportunities with DOF staff. You can attend one session or purchase a full day ticket to attend both.
