Video Teleconferencing Scheduling Form
Video Teleconferencing (VTC) operates Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm. There is no Video Teleconferencing on the weekends.
Please complete this form in its entirety. If there is vital information missing or inaccurate information provided, the VTC session will not be scheduled.
Your submission must be received 48 hours in advance of your requested session during the business week. Once you submit the form, you will receive an email confirmation providing the date/time and booth # of your confirmed Video Teleconferencing session. If you do not receive an email confirmation within 24 hours of the last requested date listed on your form, please email DL-VideoTeleconferencing@doc.nyc.gov to inquire. All VTC scheduling requests submitted on the weekends will be fulfilled during the following business week.
Video Teleconferencing is utilized for court and court-related purposes. Please see "Televisiting" for video visits with families and friends.
Co-Defendants - To schedule a co-defendant video visit between persons in custody in DOC custody or a court hearing requiring co-defendants to be produced on the same date and time, please email DL-VideoTeleconferencing@doc.nyc.gov. Please do not use this form for scheduling co-defendant VTC sessions.
Please note the following:
- If you would like to show video footage, evidence or discovery to your client during a scheduled VTC session, you must request permission at least 48 hours in advance of your session, by sending an email to DL-VideoTeleconferencing@doc.nyc.gov. The videos being shown must pertain to the client’s court case. If you are found to be showing videos, images, or other media to an inmate without prior approval, your ability to continue to use the VTC service may be jeopardized.
- If there is an urgent need to speak to an inmate on the next business day, this form must be submitted by 3pm on the business day prior to the day of the desired session. Once the form is submitted, please email DL-VideoTeleconferencing@doc.nyc.gov to ensure that the request is fulfilled right away. Urgent sessions must be due to potential warrant lifts/releases, upcoming 180.80 dates, etc.
- If you need to add a participant, cancel a session, or make some other change to your submitted request, please email video.teleconferencing@doc.nyc.gov. Please ensure to provide the calendar invite in your email for reference. If the changes are not made within 48 hours of the session, it will be canceled. Please do not resubmit this form each time you need to make a change for a session.
- If it is the day of your VTC session and you need to cancel, please contact the facility's VTC unit directly to notify them of the cancelation.
- On the day of the VTC session, if the inmate is transferred to another facility, please contact the new facility to determine if the session can be accommodated. If the session needs to be rescheduled, please submit a new VTC scheduling form.
