Islam Hamdan, Arabic

Islam Hamdan is the community case worker at Bay Ridge Community Development Center. She provides services mainly to the Arab immigrant community of Bay Ridge. She has coordinated and led civic engagement events for the Arab community of Bay Ridge to learn and access ways to vote including early voting. She believe that language access is as right for all New Yorkers and provides translation and interpretation services to community members who need assistance with language access.
