Baby Showers

The Baby Shower series is part of the Cabinet's early childhood efforts to promote language acquisition, parent-child attachment and healthy brain development by encouraging parents to talk, read and sing with their babies from birth. The showers help:

• establish connections to essential 0-3 services provided by City and community groups;
• share information on how to improve maternal and child health outcomes; and
• provide families with practical items such as diapers, clothing, and baby supplies.
