Kingsborough Community College with the National Council on Aging presents "Live Well Age Well Do Well".
The program was Developed by the National Council combines knowledge sharing with goal setting and feedback routines, daily practices, and peer support to help participants make meaningful and enduring changes in their lives.
This program is great for those who are considering retiring or have retired and looking to learn something new!
The students would learn about; Navigating a Longer Life, Sleep, Healthy Eating & Hydration, Exercise and you, Healthy Relationships, Fall Prevention, Community Engagement, Medication Management, Financial Fitness, Advance Planning and More!
The Writer’s Seminar - FREE - online w/ zoom
Starts May 7th – July 9th 7:00-8:30pm
Have a novel or memoir rattling around your head? New and exciting 10-week zoom seminar featuring tipson plot, characterization, setting, and writing realistic dialogue. Participants will share their writing with a group of like-minded writers. This seminar is designed to move your novel, memoir, etc. along from its first word its conclusion.

Exercise is important for maintaining bone and joint health as we age. Proper exercise planning is one of the approaches used in the both the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. The primary goal is to prevent the loss of bone mineral and to decrease the risk of falls and fractures.
