KaDarra Nakia Lowe's Biography

KaDarra Nakia Lowe received her formal education entirely in America’s public institutions. She graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School located in The Bronx!, New York. She holds a Communication Studies Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Master Degree in Public Administration from Baruch College, City University of New York.

A long-time Civil Servant to the City of New York (NYC), and in formation with her membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, KaDarra is a change agent and champion of diversity initiatives and BIPOC economic empowerment, leading supplier diversity, strategic sourcing and procurement operations, and business development across the government, non-profit, and private sectors. A budding entrepreneur in supplier development, she is committed to creating access, identifying and sharing wealth building resources in Black communities, and especially for Black women.

KaDarra joins Community Board 11 with intent to build a better Bronx! for its residents, local businesses, and all who wish to visit the notorious borough. KaDarra is smart and strategic in her disruption. You can agree or disagree with her, but it is impossible to ignore her!
