Coney Island Hospital’s Gynecology Division provides quick and expert second opinions in complicated cases.

Our dysplasia service treats abnormal cells on the surface of the cervix that could indicate a precancerous condition. We offer colposcopy (examination of the cervix), cryotherapy (a way to freeze and destroy diseased tissue), and painless electronic LEEP surgery in cases of cervical abnormalities.

The majority of the surgery that gynecology patients require can be performed via endoscopic (small incision) surgery. Here at Coney Island Hospital, we have expert gynecological endoscopists.

We offer our patients pregnancy testing. This service allows our patients the benefit of complete continuity of care…no appointments necessary!
