2022 Cinco de Mayo Reception

Mayor Eric Adams hosted a gathering at Gracie Mansion to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

The program began with the Commissioner for the Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs, Manuel Castro, providing opening remarks. The Mayor then spoke and introduced Jorge Islas, the Consul General of Mexico. Commissioners Mermelstein and Kreizman then took the podium. Commissioner Castro ended the program by presenting Mayoral Certificates to community leaders. The Mariachi Tapatio de Alvaro Paulino youth band performed before the program.
