Office of Nightlife 5-Borough Listening Tour

In Fall 2018, the Office of Nightlife embarked on a five-borough listening tour, kicking off in Brooklyn, and continuing to Queens, Staten Island, the Bronx, and Manhattan.

The listening sessions were designed to inform the Office of Nightlife as it pursues policy recommendations and long-term solutions to ensure a safe and vibrant nightlife scene that works for all New Yorkers. New York City business owners, employees, promoters, performers, patrons, and residents from all five boroughs attended the listening tour and shared feedback on topics such as quality of life, safety, regulations, enforcement, and the role nightlife plays in fostering creativity and social cohesion.
