Elections Consortium

In partnership with The NYC Campaign Finance Board, the Civic Engagement Commission (CEC) brings together 30 plus good government groups, community-based organizations, and elected official's offices weekly to discuss and address issues related to NYC elections as they arise. As a consortium, we share outreach and educational events including phone and text banks, coordinate social media campaigns, and advocate for progressive election policy to ensure elections are accessible for all New York City voters. Some of our key initiatives have included multilingual ranked choice voting workshops, memos in support of key voting rights legislation and social media campaigns on how to vote safely during COVID-19.
