Program Description

The Build It Back Multi-Family Program is designed to assist owners of properties with five or more units affected by Hurricane Sandy. Market-rate properties, HUD-assisted properties, rental properties, condominiums, and cooperative buildings were all potentially eligible. Financial assistance is provided to cover unmet needs for rehabilitation of buildings that sustained damage as a result of Hurricane Sandy and to promote resiliency.
