Join NYC Service Legal Outreach
Be a part of a network of committed pro-bono attorneys who will strategically and effectively address the mortgage foreclosure crisis, one of the most pressing challenges facing New York City today. Volunteer your time and expertise to represent homeowners in settlement conferences or participate in courthouse screening clinics. Learn more and apply here.

Help Haitian New Yorkers Apply for Temporary Protected Status (TPS)
Help the New York City Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs support community-based organizations that offer legal information and assistance to Haitian immigrants who may be eligible for Temporary Protected Status (TPS). Volunteer lawyers, interpreters and clerical support are needed to staff free TPS service clinics where legal information about TPS and assistance to Haitian New Yorkers will be provided. Donate Blood Now!
Donating blood is giving the gift of life and the New York Blood Center needs you. Roll up your sleeves and give blood to maintain an adequate blood supply for the Metropolitan Area. You can make a difference and give to someone in need. Donate to the NYC Blood Center now.

Be a Leader!
Join NYC Service, NYC Commission on Women's Issues and Youth HandsOn Network (formerly Children for Children ®) for the NYC Young Women's Volunteer Summit. On April 17th, New York City youth, ages 12-18, will participate in a day of service and civic leadership. Conversation Leaders Needed
Help the 1.7 million New Yorkers with limited English gain valuable language skills! The We Are New York Community Leadership Project is currently seeking volunteers to lead conversation groups of adult English Language Learners (ELLs). Click here to volunteer.

Visiting Nurse Service of New York – Community Connections TimeBank is calling for dedicated individuals to join their successful Study Coach Program. Study Coaches share their knowledge with elementary school students while offering them support and guidance to improve their academic standing. Sign up here.

Volunteer for Earth Day!
Spring is upon us and Earth Day blooms too! April 22 is the 40th anniversary of Earth Day and volunteer opportunities abound from April 19-24. From helping at Times Square for Earth Day at the “Crossroads of the World” to staffing a booth at the Environmental Exhibition inside Grand Central, there are lots of great ways to get involved. CPR Training at New York Sports Club!
Free CPR training classes from the FDNY are once again available to the general public at New York Sports Clubs across the city! As a participant, you will get to keep your FDNY CPR To Go training kit, and will pledge to give back by sharing your kit and knowledge with five other people. Volunteer for the annual CUNY/Daily News Citizenship now! Call in. Volunteers are need from April 26-30th to assist callers with locating free or low-cost immigration services, and English and civics classes. Sign up to volunteer here.
