INDUSTRY SPOTLIGHT: THEATRE
Behind every curtain call in New York are the creative workers who bring this city to life. Last month we had the opportunity to show up for our theatre community in several ways:
  • Supporting a fundraiser benefiting Broadway Swings whose versatility keeps productions running
  • Attending the opening of Fallen Angels at Roundabout, a nonprofit theatre that for nearly 60 years has helped shape New York’s cultural landscape
  • Presenting the company of Hadestown with a Mayoral Proclamation recognizing its 7-year run at the Walter Kerr Theatre, now the longest-running show in the theatre’s history and a powerful example of women-led storytelling on Broadway
  • Participating in the Theatrical Workforce Development Program final share, to witness the next generation of theatre crew work their magic
Theatre creates jobs, supports small businesses, and brings people together from across New York and around the world. At MOME we are committed to supporting the theatre ecosystem — and the workers who make it possible.
