Turkey á la King


  • 1 tablespoon green pepper (diced)
  • 2 tablespoons celery (sliced)
  • ¼ cup condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 tablespoons skim milk
  • 2 tablespoons mushrooms (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon pimento (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Bread (toasted)


  1. Cook green pepper and celery in boiling water until tender; drain
  2. Blend condensed soup and skim milk
  3. Add green pepper, celery, turkey and pimento
  4. Add salt and pepper
  5. Heat slightly over low heat
  6. Cut toast into triangles, place in bowls, tips up
  7. Spoon turkey mixture over tips
