BBQ Turkey Wings

Ingredients
- 6 turkey wings, cut into sections (drumette and forearm), discard wing tip
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 T. curry powder
- ¼ c. olive oil
- 1 t. ketchup (low sodium)
- 1 T. low sodium soy sauce
- 1T. GravyMaster (or 1 T. olive oil mixed with 1 T. dark brown sugar)
- 2 qt. water, ½ c. barbecue sauce
- Vegetable oil cooking spray
Directions
1. In a large mixing bowl, mix together the turkey wings with the curry powder, and half of the onion, celery, and peppers mix together until well coated.
2. Heat skillet or sauté (frying) pan until hot, add oil and sauté the other half of the onion, celery and peppers for I to 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
3. Add turkey wing mixture and liquids except barbecue sauce and cook on medium heat about 10 minutes.
4. Add barbecue sauce, coating wings well, and cook stirring until heated through.
For a lower fat dish, carefully remove turkey skin from wings, and discard, meat can then be pulled from bone, reheated and served.
