Dozens of civilian staff were honored for their service and commitment at the annual Employee Recognition Awards Ceremony at FDNY Headquarters on May 11.

"It's the dedication of our civilian staff that makes this Department run smoothly," said Fire Commissioner Salvatore Cassano. "You don't always get the recognition you deserve, but it's because of you that this Department gets better and stronger."
