FDNY Headquarters Celebrates Take Your Child to Work Day

The FDNY welcomed children of all ages to Headquarters on Apr. 26 for Take Your Child to Work Day. Kids received safety lessons from Fire and EMS members, toured apparatus and were sworn in as Junior Firefighters and Paramedics during the visit.

Fire Commissioner Salvatore Cassano, Chief of Department Edward Kilduff and the FDNY's fire safety mascot Hot Dog also met with the children during the annual event.
