FDNY's Commissioner's Cup Blood Drives

FDNY members know the importance of donating blood, so over the next two months, the Department has partnered with the NY Blood Center for the first-ever “Commissioner’s Cup.”

The program is a friendly competition to see which FDNY division can get the most blood donations during their drives at this critical time of the year. The winning division will receive special recognition and the “Commissioner’s Cup.”

The program is a great way of helping the community while having a friendly competition inside the department.

The FDNY’s drives are open to the public and people are encouraged to stop by one of our scheduled drives and roll up their sleeves alongside the men and women of the FDNY.
