FDNY EMS Week 2008

The New York City Fire Department will celebrate EMS Week 2008 from Sunday, May 18, through Saturday, May 24.

The annual week-long series of events is designed to promote public safety among all New Yorkers, attract potential EMS recruits and celebrate the life-saving efforts of more than 3,000 members of the FDNY Emergency Medical Service.

1000 hours	14th Annual Second Chance Ceremony FDNY Fire Academy, Randall’s Island (By invitation only)
1100 hours	16th Anniversary of the Staten Island EMS Recognition Ceremony, Sponsored by the Staten Island Borough Presidents Office The Vanderbilt S.I. New York (By invitation only)
1800 – 2100 hours	REMSCO EMS Recognition Ceremony for all pre-hospital providers in the New York City area Interchurch Building – 475 Riverside Drive (RSVP required 212-870-2301 x4)
