Health Bucks are $2 coupons that can be used to purchase locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables at all NYC farmers markets and farm stands.
There are more than 100 farmers markets and farm stands across the five boroughs every summer and fall. Visit the NYC Health Map to find days and hours of operation. To find a farmers market or farm stand near you, text “So Good” to 55676 (or “Muy Rico” for Spanish).
For every $2 spent at farmers markets and farm stands using SNAP on an EBT card, you can get $2 in Health Bucks, up to $10 per day. Health Bucks are available year-round at NYC farmers markets and farm stands that accept EBT.
Not-for-profit organizations can fill out the 2026 Application for Health Bucks to receive free Health Bucks to distribute to community members as an incentive to participate in nutrition education and other health-related activities.
These Health Bucks are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
If your organization would like to purchase Health Bucks coupons, email farmersmarkets@health.nyc.gov for more information.
