    The NYC Department of Small Business Services offers free services at our network of Workforce1 Career Centers to prepare and help New Yorkers to find jobs. We can help you prepare for your next interview, update your résumé, and connect with employers, or find the right training you need to succeed.

    • Deal with debt, including student loans
    • Open a safe and affordable bank account

Training Opportunities

    To get a job that provides a living wage and leads to a career, you need the skills and experience employers value. We work with employers and industry experts to create training programs for jobs in growing sectors. Apply for one of our current training programs, or apply for funding to train with an eligible training provider.

Services for Veterans

    We're committed to connecting New York City veterans to stable, meaningful employment. If you have served at least one day in the active military, naval, or air service, including the Reserves and National Guard, you and your spouse are eligible for priority of service at all of our Workforce1 Career Centers.

  • Training local residents to acquire skills in growing fields
